October's focus is learning more about some of our local charities and agencies that provide much needed support for those in need in our community. We are pleased to present three local organizations that will educate us on their services and how we can get involved. Laura Rice represents the CIBC Run for the Cure Committee for Blue Mountain / Collingwood Alison Fitzgerald has held the position of Executive Director at My Friend's House for 21 years Joy Fleury is the Executive Director for the South Georgian Bay Region These Wonderful Women will educate us on what their organizations provide within our communities. They will each share their background with us as well as show us how we as individuals or groups or organizations can become involved in many different ways to support these important charities. This promises to be a very informative and interesting evening that we will all walk away from with a new appreciation for all the dedicated people working tirelessly to help provide a better life for those in need.
