Junes WBWBA Meeting Sure To Be A Packed House

The Wasaga Beach Women’s Business Association (WBWBA) is proud to have Joanne Smith as their guest speaker at the Tues June 9th membership meeting being held at Country Life Resort, 85 Theme Park Rd.  Joanne is a successful Tim Horton’s franchisee, an Ambassador for and heavily involved in the Tim Hortons Children Foundation, she also sits on the Ontario Provincial Police Youth Foundation Board of Directors and is a Community Member of the Georgian Bay General Hospital Finance and Investment Committee in Midland.

“Joanne embodies with grace what many women in business struggle with” says Tanya Snell, owner of whatsuphut.comand President of WBWBA. “Balancing work, philanthropy, raising a family and taking care of self.  We are excited to hear what she has to share in keeping all of those balls in the air in addition to being our Mayors wife and all of the duties that come with that role.”  Guests are going to enjoy a delicious steak dinner bbq prior to Mrs. Smiths talk.  The meeting is open to all women in business to attend and registration closes on Sunday June 7th.  Please visit wbwba.com to register and for more information.

WBWBA has over 50 members who gather monthly for a dinner meeting to enjoy informative and inspirational speakers and network with the other members.  “Our group has grown tremendously in the last year or so” says Snell “our members are amazing women who want to promote, refer and help each other be as successful as we can be in both business and everyday life.”

Please be sure to let us know if you have any dietary restrictions. We have the option of either steak or fish for the June dinner. thank you
